LJM - Lind Jensen is the market leader in no less than three business areas
The Hydraulics division delivers worldwide to both major and minor industries, where performance in terms of quality, operational life and safety is in full focus. Through the competence of our development department in this field, LJM has accumulated a huge bank of knowledge in terms of hydraulic cylinders, which has resulted in expansion into specialised mobile hydraulics, lift/crane equipment and hydraulics for the wind power industry. LJM has delivered solutions to this market for more than 35 years. A new product area has recently been added – piston accumulators, an area which has undergone fundamental expansion in recent years.
The Agri division, which is strongly represented on the domestic market and in Europe, as well as several overseas markets, has a product range consisting of manure removal systems, slurry pumps and agitators for liquid manure plants. LJM AGRI has supplied this market for more than 50 years.
The Biogas and Wastewater division provides worldwide delivery of a product range of pumps, mixers and agitators for plants of all sizes. LJM has been active on this market for more than 30 years.

LJM is ISO 9001 certified and works with Six Sigma & LEAN principles in order to ensure that manufacturing takes place in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Consideration of our employees worldwide, where our CSR plainly and succinctly expresses our rules of conduct and what is required of LJM and our employees to act as responsible individuals. This is underlined by high lengths of service amongst our employees at our various manufacturing sites.
This is a natural development designed to underpin and develop our already positive view of human nature and management principles, as well as the ability to safeguard the environment for future generations.
By the end of 2021, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems will have been established. As important elements in the company’s strategy, consideration of the environment, the working environment and sustainable production have received a boost, whilst action plans have been adopted aimed at ensuring CO2 neutral production by 2030 at the latest.
LJM is currently working with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) as a tool for implementing and making visible a responsible and sustainable method of management in our enterprise.

LJM India completes ISO certification for quality ISO 9001:2015.
LJM India is preparing and documenting system descriptions in the HSE area for ISO certification by DNV in 2024.
Investments are being made in 2 new CNC machines in Denmark.

LJM India acquires 4,500 m2 of production space with 10 employees.
LJM Denmark completes ISO certification for environmental and occupational health ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

2021
Lind Jensen Machinery Private Limited is registered in India.
LJM China expands its facilities with an additional 2,500 m2 for the production of piston accumulators.
LJM Denmark draws up and describes system descriptions in the HSE area for ISO certification by DNV in December 2021.
2020
LJM China expands its production area by 2,500 m2 for the production of modular cylinders.
2019
LJM Denmark expands its production area by 2,000 m2 in Spjald.
Investing in tree new CNC machines and one welding robot in Denmark.2018
LJM China acquires joint venture partner’s stake in RMC and becomes 100% owner - Inauguration on 24.05.18. Expands its facilities to 8,000 m2, approximately doubling the production area.
LJM - Denmark - The first robot cell is installed in our CNC department.
LJM - completes upgrading of the ISO 9001 certificate: 2015 version and continues welding certification 3834-2.
2017
LJM-USA establishes an aftersales facility in Aurora, Denver, Colorado, focusing on the wind turbine industry.
2014
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, LJM hosted an open house for neighbours and stakeholders at the factory, and the anniversary celebration ended with a party for 300 guests, suppliers and customers in the evening.
CEO Jens A. N. Mikkelsen stepped down and Martin Andersen stepped in as the new CEO.
Jens A. N. Mikkelsen then took over as chairman of the board.
2011
LJM’s first sales and warehousing company, Lind Jensen Machinery Incorporated, is registered in the USA.
2010
LJM upgrades to ISO 9001: version 2008 and includes development activities in the certification.
2009
LJM starts companies in China. A production company together with a joint venture partner with 50% each. An import/export company to handle logistics. A specialised factory together with a joint venture partner. All three companies are based in Ningbo, about 2½ hours south of Shanghai.
2008
The last expansions in Denmark so far have been three buildings with a total of 1,776 m2, which are used for another welding hall, a shortening hall and another administration building located near the production halls with offices and welfare facilities.
This gives LJM a total of 14,970 m2 - spread over 15 halls over a total area of 47,821 m2 on both sides of Kroghusvej.
2004
The company is handed over to Vera and Ejgil Lind Jensen’s two sons, each with a 50% share, and they sit on the company’s board of directors. Allan and Brian both have full-time jobs at the company.
1993
LJM completes the ISO 9002 quality certification, which is a certification we still maintain, and has just been certified according to the latest version in 2018.
1989
Founders Vera and Ejgil Lind Jensen celebrate their 25th anniversary with a big party. LJM receives the Initiative Diploma from Landsforeningen DANSK ARBEJDE for outstanding production initiatives and socially beneficial work.
The factory now has approximately 8000 m2 with around 100 employees. Everything has gone well in the past years. A CEO is appointed.
1974
LJM celebrates its 10th anniversary with an area of 3,200 m2 and around 35 employees.
1964
Lind Jensens Maskinfabrik A/S (LJM) was founded by Vera and Ejgil Lind Jensen. Starting with a few brand-new machines in the family’s old 289 m2 car garage on Røgindvej. Now used for the current building that houses Højmark Auto “Auto Mester” garage, which still belongs to the company. Lind Jensens Maskinfabrik A/S (LJM).
